As independent contractors, OntaCleaners have the flexibility to work as little or as often as they want. This means that total earnings potential depends on the individual.

The number of cleanings you’ll make depends on service requests volume on the platform and how many OntaCleaners are active.

All earnings will be deposited directly into your bank account on a weekly basis.

In order to become an OntaCleaner you must:

• - Be at least 18 years of age.


• - Have legal authorization to work in Canada.


• - Optimal health and physical conditions to be able to perform the cleaning work.


• - Smartphone with Android OS or Apple iOS + Data plan


• - You must also pass a background check.

Documents:

• - Contact information (the details on your driver’s license should cover this step).


• - SIN (social insurance number)


• - Banking information in order to set up direct deposit so you can get paid.

Yes. Nevertheless, in some cases, the clients may require the cleaning to be performed with specific equipment and/or supplies provided by them.

OntaCleaners must have as minimum in their basic cleaning kit the following:

• - All purpose cleaner, disinfectant & bleach


• - Degreaser & glass cleaner


• - Paper towels & microfibre cloths


• - Broom & dustpan


• - Vacuum cleaner


• - Bucket, rubber gloves, scrub brushes & sponges

You can start taking and performing cleaning services on the OntaClean Platform once you complete the signup process and have all of the required tools.

All Cleaners on the OntaClean Platform are independently contracted.
This means that you are in charge of choosing when you work, how much you want to earn, and having the right tools.

All Cleaners on the OntaClean Platform are independently contracted.
You provide your own tools, set your own availability, and decide when to take a short or extended break from cleaning.

It's not mandatory but for your safety and peace of mind, OntaClean recommends you to take a Commercial General Liability Insurance (CGL policy).

It protects you in case of accidental damage to a Client's house or if something of value is accidentally broken, etc.

Remember that you, as an independent cleaning contractor, are fully responsible for your safety, for every cleaning job you do and everything that happens while performing them.
